Kindel,
Thank-you so much for this post! I think there are a lot of us out there whose interests have been peaked by Latisse. It's nice to have a first hand account on using the product from one of our friends. Thank-you for your honesty. I can't wait to see the results as you progress. Take Care and Best WIshes. btw - I saw your Latisee pics in your gallery, I must tell you, you have gorgeous eyes! I love the color! :D As for adding pictures here, I think if you click on the little icon, on the top of the little box, where we compose our posts, that looks like a little painting, it will take you to another screen that allows you to add pictures from your computer. Hope that helps. |

There are some things about the Latisse applicator brushes that I wanted to comment on. First, the applicator brushes that Latisse come with are too thick and waste product. I use a smaller brush and one drop can work on both eyes. I know I am new to the Latisse experience, but I am pretty confident I am on the right path with this.

Ok, it has been a month since I started using Latisse and I am definitely seeing results. I am very happy. I have noticed some things, they are growing at different times, so my right eye is slightly longer than my left. One of my friends told me they would be wacky at first. They are, but I know they will settle. Here are the before and after:

looks like the Latisse is working for you! A little tip... Dont let too much time go by between bottles. I waited to long and my lashes started to fall out. I belive they go back to normal when you stop??? I would like some feedback on that if anyone has experienced that!

OK, so I am 2 months out and I know I need to take more pics, plus my one month ones don't do them justice. I have definitely noticed a difference. Though my left lashes are finally catching up to the right. I did have someone ask me if I use Latisse, which was a good sign because it means it is working. I still don't look as good as Traycee does without make-up, they are not quite that long, but I will still keep using it. I still have some left in my bottle, I am trying to make it last.
I don't have experience yet with what happens when I stop using it, that makes me sad to think about! I really love putting on mascara now, it's such a difference. I feel like my eyes are so much prettier. I promise to add new pics this week....writing it on my list now.... |

Oh, good to know!!! That would be awful! I want to keep all my lashes! I only use waterproof on the bottom lashes, my days are really long usually 12+ hours, so if I use regular mascara on the bottom, it ends up under my eyes (just what I need more dark circles). I only wear waterproof at weddings and funerals. Though the only reason I don't wear it on the top lashes is because it is a bitch to get off. I am really glad to have another reason not to use it!

Here is an interesting observation....
I have been using Latisse on and off since 2009. As you know, there is a lag time between when you start using it and when you see results. The reverse is also true, when you stop using it, it usually takes about a month or two for your lashes to go back to their normal state. I stopped using Latisse over 4 months ago and my lashes are still just as long. It makes me wonder if Latisse can permanently change the memory of your hair follicles after long time use. I will keep you posted on this interesting observation. |

Well, my lashes have returned to their pre-Latisse length. It took a good 5 months! I do miss the long lashes but I have to say that my eyes look brighter and more healthy. I do not at all miss the pink color that Latisse caused from pigment changes. I can only hope that my iris does not change color! I think I am done with Latisse!

Latisse for the first time! Posted: 08/01/2011 10:44 PM
As I get older, I am starting realize that maybe I wasn't blessed in the eyelash area or maybe they are getting shorter as I age, I am not sure, regardless……I am now in posession of Latisse. This is so exciting for me. I have taken pictures of what my eyelashes look like now. I actually started using it 5 nights ago. There are some things to note. Jola said I would feel sandy under my eyelashes, in my eye, she is right, I do feel that, it's weird. I ignore it, as it is not bothersome to me. Secondly, I was told that in the first few weeks, my eyelashes would do some crazy things until they get all situated after about a month. This morning, I counted 3 eyelashes that were longer and straighter than any other…..YAY! This means it's working! I am so excited!
Here are my before pics without and with mascara:
I will keep you posted on my progress.
