I think another bonus to getting Botox is increased confidence. Once I saw the results of Botox, I felt so much better about myself! No more frown....no more of my kids saying "mom, why are you angry?", no more people saying "why do you look so serious"....finally my face represents what I am feeling!!! |

What are the Uses of Botox? Posted: 03/04/2011 08:07 PM
Botox is used for more than just treating forehead wrinkles (AKA the mean
look). It is also used to...
...prevent headaches in adults with chronic migraine who have 15 or more days each month with headache lasting 4 or more hours each day.
...treat increased muscle stiffness in elbow, wrist, and finger muscles in adults with upper limb spasticity.
...treat the abnormal head position and neck pain that happens with cervical dystonia (CD) in adults.
...treat certain types of eye muscle problems (strabismus) or abnormal spasm of the eyelids (blepharospasm) in people 12 years or older.
...treat symptoms of severe underarm sweating (sever primary axillary hpeerhindrosis) when medicines used on top of the skin do not work.
I have also had Botox to help reduce my slight frown
. Just a little bit has helped make my smile
better.
